The Ethernet should still be connected to the modem and router, because when the router is initially turned on, it needs to configure to the modem. Your best bet is to let the AirPort scan and find the best channel to use. Now simply plug the AirPort into the wall outlet. ![]() Look for the Channel setting, and that will indicate whether you are using 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz at the time. While I don't have hands on experience with either device, I don't see a reason as to why those devices shouldn't be usable behind our Pace equipment.
